Come experience how marketing to the 50+ population and seniors is done

by | Apr 19, 2011 | Advice & Tips

The Spring 50+ PrimeTime Living Expo (formerly the Seniors Spring Show) is happening today and tomorrow at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, MN.  Our company has been producing events to help businesses connect with seniors in their community for 10 years. This year, we’ve expanded the shows to include the 50+ age group. We’d love for you to stop by and see how it’s done!

We take a comprehensive approach to bringing in large groups of highly targeted attendees. People who come to our shows are there to learn about the products and services being offered as well as to be entertained.  We’ve been highly successful at attracting thousands of pre-qualified consumers because of some equally specific tactic, which include:

·         Public Relations and Advertising: Because we’re first and foremost a marketing company, we never stop talking with the media about our expos. Our spokespeople, marketing partners and exhibitors are interviewed in print, and on TV and radio throughout the year. In addition, we advertise in targeted publications where we’re most likely to grab the attention of the 50+ and seniors markets.

·         A mix of quality exhibitors: Our attendees know that they won’t see a large number of businesses selling the same types of products, or businesses that won’t be around the next year. We actively seek out healthy, upstanding businesses that offer products and services that could add value to our attendees’ lives.

·         Great entertainment: Of course we understand that fun entertainment is going to draw more people to the expo. People who are in a great mood are also more likely to spend time listening to exhibitors explain their products’ features and benefits. So we have the Ms. Minnesota Senior Pageant held in the glamorous Mystic Showroom, performances by the Plymouth Playhouse and The Pretty Good Players, as well as informational seminars to help people decide of some of our exhibitors’ products are right for them.

·         An appealing venue: We choose venues that are easy to get to and that offer other fun amenities after the expo closes for the day.

Of course, there’s a lot more that goes into a successful seniors event. If you’re intrigued, and want to experience one of these events as an exhibitor or marketing partner, you’re in luck! Our Summer 50+ PrimeTime Living Expo will be held July 26-27 at Jackpot Junction, and our Fall 50+ PrimeTime Living Expo will take place October 4-5 at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.

I’m fortunate to have a very diverse background, which gives me a good perspective whenever we bring on a new client.” An IABC- and Mercury-award winner, Robin says her practical experience in the health sciences has proven particularly beneficial as she interprets clients’ scientific information for mainstream media. “But it’s no longer sufficient to write well,” she cautions. “As marketers, we must now comply with the intricacies of digital marketing. That involves a whole set of rules, which are constantly evolving.”
