This segment on NBC Connecticut News was a fun way to get TV publicity for three clients’ nutritional supplements. We enlisted the help of a top fitness guru to talk about two of summer’s least-flattering accessories: beer bellies and muffin tops. She then dispelled several dietary myths that often prevent people from losing those last five pounds of fat, and used our clients’ products to explain how to make positive changes.
After all these years in the business, I still get a kick out of seeing an interview come together as we’d envisioned it. There are so many moving parts! We need to understand each client’s story inside out. We need that same depth of understanding of the media and its audiences. Our pitches must include media-grade content. Then we must follow through by helping the spokesperson to make the interview interesting and informative so that he or she is invited back. That includes some basic post-interview etiquette.
We’re a results-driven company. With our trademarked Pay Per Interview fee structure, you only pay for actual media placements. If your company’s nutritional supplement is backed by great science but it is gathering dust on store shelves, perhaps it’s time to call us to see if it might be a good fit in our client roster.
