Great publicity sometimes requires simplfying complex financial concepts

by | May 26, 2014 | Placement Examples

Making Boulay’s feature article happen required our expertise in helping clients simplify complicated concepts. It’s one of our secrets for getting high-caliber publicity for clients in just about any industry.

When I spoke with veteran Star Tribune Columnist Todd Nelson, he liked the idea of interviewing this client who specializes in business finance. We worked together to find a strong angle that would be timely and resonate with readers, landing on the still relatively unfamiliar concept of business succession planning for baby boomers, which is becoming a growing concern for many businesses today. The result was a feature article and sidebar that did an excellent job of describing Boulay’s and services, gave a nice snapshot of its culture and history, and clearly communicated several of the client’s key value points.
