The Media loved this Seniors Spring Show marketing partner

Our Seniors Spring Show is the event of the season, and a great mix of entertainment and information for attendees.

From a fashion show helping to raise awareness for a nonprofit organization benefiting women diagnosed with breast cancer, to the latest information on Medicare supplement policies, the schedule was full. Attendees practiced new exercise moves and learned about the latest anti-aging technology; they also learned about the best ways to manage their retirement income and health care costs.

This year our featured marketing partner was also one of our most popular: Humana’s expert offered great tips for seniors about how to choose a Medicare plan.Dr. Terri Sullivan, the Chief Managing Officer for the North Central and West Central regions of Humana Senior Products, offered five tips for seniors to evaluate Medicare options.

We gave the media a copy of these tips, and they loved the story idea! Many are still running stories featuring this extremely useful and timely advice. With a few follow-up stories still to run, Elk River Star News featured the tips with Humana’s Dr. Terry Sullivan in a recent posting and will run the story in print this month as well.

Even after the Seniors Spring Show was over, we tied these great tips into big national news about the changing Medicare benefits to make Humana’s advice even more timely and to generate more media interest. This connection grabbed the media’s attention.
