The Power of Giving

My blog today is a little personal.  We are very lucky to work here at Kocina Branding and Marketing for many reasons.  It’s a healthy work environment where our strength are identified and we  work  where we can excel and when you are happy you can produce well for your company and you clients.  And also because of the company’s  commitment and encouragement for us to give back to the community by volunteering.  One of my charities of choice is the Breast Cancer Awareness Organization, where I serve as a member of the Board. The BCAA is celebrating its tenth anniversary of presenting the “Living with Breast Cancer Educational Conference.”  It’s a day where we can learn about breast cancer detection, prevention and treatment and support.  It’s also an awesome day of celebration. We believe that with knowledge comes empowerment, with community comes inspiration, and with support comes hope.

Kocina has been a great supporter of the BCAA and my work as a Board member to help get the word out about the great work they do.   We are regular exhibitors at the Expos organized by Mid-America Events. I invite you to visit the BCAA at the upcoming Body Mind Life Expo March 5-6 and join us at the Breast Party in Town on March 3.
