Imagine being able to show off the work you’ve done for a client in front of thousands of its employees. That’s what we got to do recently, and had a blast doing so.

Our team was invited to Great Clips 30th birthday celebration this past weekend in downtown Minneapolis. We can easily say this was no ordinary ho-hum business conference. Our Vice President of Media Production Heather Champine and Communications Specialist Lindsay Helgeson were treated to a festive atmosphere with movie theater-style snacks, a live inspirational mural painting and a show from comedy legend Dana Carvey. You may know him from his popular Church Lady or Wayne’s World skits on Saturday Night Live.

Media Relations Vice President of Media Production Heather Champine and Communications Specialist Lindsay Helgeson enjoy the Great Clips festivities.

But the part our team was most excited to see was the booth that had our media placements playing for all the three thousand attendees to see. Talk about good exposure! Called “Great Media for Great Clips”, the booth showed a continuous video of a number of successful TV placements we’ve gotten for Great Clips salons in almost every market in the country. Many of the stylists featured in those segments were probably even in attendance at the birthday event and got to see themselves on TV again.
