    Media Relations Agency, the nation’s premier performance-based marketing agency, has acquired Minnesota-based Encourage Her Network, a professional organization which produces women’s networking events and a quarterly magazine. As part of the restructuring, Encourage Her Network Founder Shannon Johnson has joined Media Relations Agency as an account executive. She will continue to be heavily involved with the organization, and retains her position as the magazine’s publisher.

Kocina has received numerous honors for her women’s empowerment accomplishments over the years including SUN ThisWeek’s Exceptional Business Woman 2016; NAWBO’s 2005 Luminary Award, MPLS/St. Paul Magazine’s 2006 Standing Ovation Award; Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal’s 2008 25 Women to Watch Award, and NAWBO’s 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award.
