Malicious attacks are increasing. Make your website more secure.

In this article

We have recently received calls from several professionals whose websites have experienced malicious attacks. We want as many people as possible to know how to avoid this: Please make sure all of your plugins and themes are up to date. Here are more steps to make your website more secure.

Unfortunately, there are dishonest people who use their time and talent to try to crack code and hack into websites. Sadly, sometimes they succeed. If your website has out-of-date plugins or themes, it may be vulnerable to being hacked. Even unused themes on your website can make it open to attack if you do not update them.

Our maintenance plan clients don’t have to worry about out-of-date plugins or themes because we perform those updates proactively for them. We also tell our “regulars” when we see updates available for their websites. We take security seriously because we don’t want our clients to experience website disruptions.

If you’re not sure if you have the most recent plugins and themes, or if you don’t know how to perform the updates yourself, call me at 952-697-5269 or complete our form below. We’ll discuss the best way to make your website more secure.
