CoinsOnline monthly report, September 2026

The first month Analytics saw a sale.

Since March, Google Analytics recorded no revenue at all while your store took hundreds of thousands of dollars in orders. From September 22 it records each sale, at its real value, when payment arrives.

Analytics saw people shopping and checking out, but the purchase step never reached it with a value. That's what this month's tracking work fixed. Without real sales in Analytics, there was no way to tell which ads, searches or emails were producing revenue.

September, day by day

Each coin is a website order, by the day it was placed.

The shopping path

Every step from product view to purchase is now recorded, September 1–30.

Purchases only count from September 22, so the last step reflects about a week, not the full month. October will be the first complete month.

What we did this month

The tracking project, in short.

Found why sales weren't being recordedFour tools were each trying to track purchases, firing before payment and without a dollar value. A plugin setting also hid every logged-in customer from Analytics.
Rebuilt purchase trackingA sale is now sent to Analytics once, at its real value, when payment arrives: on card payment, or when your team marks a wire or check received. Test orders are left out.
Connected it to Google AdsGoogle Ads now learns from paid sales only. The cart and checkout steps it used to count as conversions are switched off.
Removed the old, overlapping trackingThe old Tag Manager plugin and container, Site Kit, and the WooCommerce plugin's purchase tracking. Your own Tag Manager container now runs the site, and staff visits are left out.
Verified it on a real orderOrder #72467: placed 8:56 AM September 25, paid by wire, marked received at 11:29 AM, and recorded in Analytics and Google Ads within the same minute at $917.16.
Built a margin modelEvery product grouped into five margin bands from your pricing sheet, so future reporting can show profit, not just revenue.

What's next: the ads

With sales now measured correctly, the focus moves to Google Ads.

Ads that learn from real salesFor the first time, Google Ads can see which clicks turn into paid orders, and at what value. That's the foundation for spending where it pays.
Campaigns built around what you sellProduct feed and campaign improvements, so budget goes to the products and searches that produce paid orders, with your margins in mind.
Fewer, but real, Google Ads conversionsGoogle Ads used to count cart and checkout steps. Now each conversion is a paid order, so the number will be much lower and much more meaningful.
October: the first full month of real dataRevenue in Analytics for the whole month, by source, to measure the ads against.

We'll follow soon with the details of the plan.
