Prepared for Abdallah Candies Media Relations Agency · Revised July 28, 2026

200+ varieties.
Two seconds to find one.

A rebuild of abdallahcandies.com around two things that decide whether a visitor buys: a back end that's fast to run and a front end that's fast to load and easy to shop. Everything below serves one of those two.

Fast back end

Off Divi, onto native blocks. Less code to load, fewer plugins to break, faster to update without a developer.

Fast, easy front end

AI-driven search across the full assortment, rebuilt category and product pages, and a checkout that holds up on mobile — where 58% of customers are.

Room to grow

Accurate tracking and clean product feeds now, so wholesale, email automation, and paid advertising can be switched on later without a rebuild.

The plan

Three phases, in order

Phase 1 is the foundation and the only phase that has to happen before launch. Phases 2 and 3 build revenue on top of it.

PHASE 01

Performance foundation & core operations

Speed, aesthetics, mission-critical business logic, plugin cleanup.

Infrastructure & code

  • Theme migration — full move off Divi to a Gutenberg block architecture, eliminating the technical bloat that slows every page.
  • AI search — customers find one of 200+ varieties immediately, and we retire the paid third-party search subscription.
  • Speed optimization — WP Engine Speed Booster and advanced caching.
  • Template rebuilds — home, category, product detail, checkout.

Data & tracking

  • GA4 and server-side tracking — every dollar of revenue attributed correctly.
  • Product feeds — Google Merchant Center and Meta rebuilt so the full assortment syncs cleanly for shopping ads and social commerce.

Must-have customizations

  • Pick N Pack — the build-your-own box, fully ported.
  • Shipping logic — summer shipping rules, multi-address, and nutritional/ingredient compliance data carried into the new checkout.

Heritage & content

  • Dynamic homepage — a hero image for each of the 12 months, plus live best-seller sections.
  • Our Story & anniversary template — reusable for future milestones.

PHASE 02

Growth engines & revenue expansion

B2B scalability and marketing automation.

  • Wholesale 2.0 — manual requests become a self-service portal, with a mobile in-store ordering tool for retail partners.
  • Klaviyo migration — abandoned cart recovery and anniversary reminders replace basic email, lifting customer lifetime value.
  • B2B funnels — SEO landing pages and gift-selection forms built for corporate gifting.

PHASE 03

Multi-channel scaling

Evaluated once the new architecture is stable.

  • SEO & content — move beyond brand-only traffic to high-intent category searches like "gourmet sea salt caramels," with a blog calendar timed to gifting seasons.
  • Advertising — Meta and Google Shopping campaigns running on the feeds and GA4 data built in Phase 1, targeting gift-givers and corporate buyers.
  • Omnichannel voice — social, email, and web aligned under the SAM 6™ guardrails.

Running in parallel: the marketing guardrails

While the design and development team builds the architecture and templates, your publicist Isaac is establishing the SAM 6™ Marketing Guardrails — finalizing the Client and Product Code Sheets that define messaging, target markets, and value propositions. That work sharpens social and email performance now, and it's the foundation everything in Phase 3 is built on. Scans of your site, your competitors, and your customer reviews are already complete.

$12,000A draw-down account so the technical and creative teams can handle the complex pieces — Pick N Pack, shipping logic, AI search — without stopping to re-scope.

Timeline

Two windows left this year

The original spring window has passed. Because no candy company launches a new storefront during its holiday season, what's left is a narrow opening before the freeze and a clean one after it.

Window A

Recommended

Launch before the holidays

New site carries Q4. Requires a decision in the next two weeks.

  • Aug 1Build begins — architecture, templates, Pick N Pack and shipping logic ported.
  • Sept 15Soft launch. Traffic and conversion watched on live orders.
  • Sept 22Full launch.
  • Oct 1Code freeze. Nothing structural changes until January.
  • JanuaryPhase 2 wholesale portal rolls out.

The trade: a compressed build with less slack for surprises, and the wholesale portal waits. In exchange, your biggest revenue quarter runs on the fast site instead of the slow one.

Window B

Launch after the holidays

Current site carries Q4. Build runs on staging through the season.

  • SeptBuild begins at a normal pace, entirely on staging.
  • Oct – DecHoliday season runs on the existing site, untouched.
  • Jan 6Soft launch into the quiet period.
  • Mid JanFull launch, with time to settle.
  • Feb – AprPhase 2 wholesale and B2B, live and proven before Mother's Day.

The trade: no schedule pressure and a safer holiday, but Q4 runs on the current site — so another peak season is spent paying for the search subscription and the slow mobile checkout.

Window A closes around August 7. After that there isn't enough runway to build, test, and stabilize before Q4 traffic arrives, and Window B becomes the only responsible option.
