How to simplify your marketing strategy

Today’s marketing environment is complex. As a former teacher with a Master’s Degree in Education, I love seeing the light go on in people’s eyes as they learn how basic marketing principles can clarify their strategy. I’m also a Certified Marketing Executive and Media Relations’ Marketing Manager. I understand the challenges you face. I’d love to share a few sound academic marketing principles to help you create focused marketing plans. When there are so many options for promoting your product, it can be difficult to know where to start. At Media Relations, we begin by asking clients four questions:

  1. Who is your market?
  2. What do you need to tell them?
  3. What does your market want to hear? (This can be different from what you need to tell them.)
  4. Which promotional channels will work best?

We then answer those questions using marketing concepts such as:

  • Positioning
  • Brand Statement
  • Segmentation Strategies

To uncomplicate marketing, we ask the right questions and apply the right marketing concepts. When our clients have a well-defined marketing strategy in place, they feel a sense of relief. They have a clearer understanding of the message they are sending, to whom they are sending it, and how they are sending it.
