Just when we thought 2020 would be a tough act to follow, along came 2021. As the world officially rang in the new year, Media Relations Agency resolved to double down in our efforts to help our clients regroup and excel despite yet another challenging marketing environment. 

There was plenty of new business to keep things interesting  
We thrive on variety! And 2021 delivered that to us by the truckloads. In addition to a lengthy list of long-term clients across multiple industries, we welcomed 27 new clients representing everything from melt-in-your-mouth gummy alternatives and allergy-free toothpastes to slow fashion design, US-made threat detection technology and even an adorable canine internet celebrity.  

(Pssst: We’re sworn to secrecy right now, but one new client has our entire agency abuzz!) 

We became certified SAM 6 Pros!
This year, our SAM 6® marketing process, based on CEO Lonny Kocina’s best-selling book, became the subject of an accredited marketing class developed and offered by ProThink Learning. Now marketers around the world can learn and use our highly effective system. As our staff and others passed the course, we received these nifty hats to help celebrate our SAM 6 Pro certification.

Throughout the global business community, the need for a better marketing plan has never been greater. In 2022, we’ll build on our SAM 6 success with an exciting new solution. Stay tuned! 

We powered up our innovative team
Our newest go-getters came to us with a LOT of experience. A huge welcome to Caitlin, Charlie, Christie, Diane, Emma, Gretchen, Marjorie and Symone! They are inspiring everyone with their high-energy approaches to their roles. It’s been so much fun to collaborate on campaigns using our agency’s increasingly multi-generational perspective. 

And, we flexed our strategic marketing muscles 
Every project is a team effort. Our marketing strategists, admin personnel, publicists, writers, digital marketing experts and graphic artists all had a great time collaborating to move our clients’ products up higher on the ladder of fame.  

Earned publicity remains the most powerful marketing tool. From niche media to international outlets such as Trend Hunter International with 3.5 million viewers, we showed our clients how this process works. We arranged media interviews on all the major TV networks: ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX. Our efforts securing national and international trade media coverage resulted in some of those publications’ most-read stories. 

Blowing our own horn a bit, we also secured this interview in Authority Magazine for our founder and CEO Lonny Kocina. Others interviewed by this publication – which has more than 9.8 million readers – include Shaquille O’Neal, Snoop Dogg, and C-suite execs from Microsoft and General Motors.

We are also SO proud of our digital team! These imaginative folks created clever explainer videos, designed and launched websites, and simultaneously ran multiple results-driven influencer campaigns. They increased our clients’ visibility with online advertising campaigns; and applied our proven marketing strategies to e-commerce projects including Amazon.
