Giving thanks changes ordinary opportunities into blessings

by | Nov 24, 2021 | Advice & Tips

Happy Thanksgiving

As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving here in the U.S., I am reminded that gratitude celebrations of one sort or another are held around the world. Acknowledging our blessings can have a powerful impact on our daily lives.  Here at Media Relations Agency, we believe that a true measure of gratitude is how we use our blessings. We are a strengths-based business. We want each person to use their unique God-given talents. When people work within their strengths, they enjoy what they do. And because of that, they end up doing a great job. This becomes a Win Win Win: a win for our agency, a win for our staff and a win for our clients.  We also set aside time each day for gratitude. Life is stressful and complicated. We’re logging into multiple meetings. We’re tied to our cell phones. We’re analyzing spreadsheets. And we’re juggling business with family and personal obligations.  Sometimes, it can be challenging to feel thankful. But find something, no matter how small. Each time you give thanks, it lightens your load. Don’t wait for a national holiday to develop an attitude of gratitude.  At our agency, giving thanks is as much a part of daily business as any work we do on our clients’ accounts.  I’m sharing this quote because it describes how daily gratitude can impact your own life and your company culture, as it has ours:  “Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.”  William Arthur Ward  Happy Thanksgiving!
