Your product in the news = mass awareness

by | Mar 6, 2017 | MarketSmart Newsletters

Most CEOs think their companies and products are best-kept secrets. They feel that if everyone just knew how great their companies and products were, everybody would buy. Extensive media coverage closes the gap between people not knowing about your products and knowing about them.

Heather Champine will be presenting a webinar on March 9th that will show you how to attract media coverage. And Heather should know. Her team of publicists has spent hours on the phone with the media every day for 30 years pitching them story ideas for products.

One of the many benefits of media coverage is sharing it on the internet. Sharing your story on websites and social channels can extend its life almost indefinitely. And once you get enough media stories online where they available 24/7, your product becomes highly searchable.

If you think getting more media coverage for your product is a good idea, you’re not alone. Here are the amounts from a couple of recent checks. These are just some copies I happen to have in front of me on my desk: $10,000; $25,000; $8,500 $20,000, $9,000, $16,375. You get the idea. I won’t tell you our exact sales but checks for media coverage total in the hundreds of thousands every month. And they have for decades.

We charge per story we arrange which means those checks aren’t payments for trying. They are payments for actual media coverage. So, as you can imagine, Heather knows her stuff.

You might be surprised at how much media coverage you’ve been missing. Lots of press coverage in 2017 could make a difference in how you end your year.

The cost of attending Heather’s webinar is a whopping nothing. Just follow this link to sign up and you’re in. And yes, we will probably call you at some point in the days after the webinar to see if you are interested in having us arrange some media coverage for you. We’d love to have you as a client and trust me, when you are on our client list, you are in good company.

P.S. If you’d rather skip the webinar and just have us start arranging media coverage for you, that would be fine with me. Give us a call at 952 697-5269 and we will get your story in the news.

He complains of a stomach ache a lot and I don’t think he likes school much either.”
