We’ll help you use Twitter to attract more website traffic

attract more website traffic

With 320 million monthly active users, Twitter definitely connects with a large audience. But to make the most of Twitter as an Internet marketing tool, you need an informed strategy. We can help you use Twitter to attract more website traffic. We can even write and post your tweets for you. Here are strategies we’ll use to help promote your product with Twitter.

  1. Shorten links. Each Twitter message, or tweet, can only contain 140 characters. We use Bitly to shorten website links so they occupy less space.
  2. Include images. Attaching images to tweets takes up some of the character count, but it’s worth it. Colorful images are engaging and eye-catching.
  3. Vary hashtags. Twitter users can search by hashtag (#) to find tweets about a certain topic. We vary hashtags so tweets can be found by a broader audience.
  4. Tweet often. It’s safe to say that most people do not read every tweet from every Twitter account they follow. It’s fine to send out several tweets a day. With tools such as Hootsuite, we enter multiple tweets at once and schedule them to be delivered throughout the day.
  5. Offer readers value. Twitter users are deluged with a constant stream of new tweets. We give them good reason to click a link and visit your website. We show how your site or article will help them.

Twitter enables you to interact with your audience and invite them to your website. However, it does take time and energy to create engaging tweets, in addition to the other social media content you need to create. We can take care of all this for you. We can create a focused social media strategy, and our writers and digital marketers can put it into action.

Robin will coordinate the writing for your newsletters, social media posts, website, blogs, newsletters and press releases. “I like interviewing clients and spokespeople, hearing their stories, getting to know their personalities and listening to how they phrase their thoughts,” she says. “It’s fun to transform what I’ve learned from those conversations into media-grade content.” Robin enjoys shaping content to ensure that the message will be clearly received. “When someone understands the relevance of what they’re writing and can position it properly for their audience, their work tends to be more convincing and on point. I’m fortunate to have a very diverse background, which gives me a good perspective whenever we bring on a new client.” An IABC- and Mercury-award winner, Robin says her practical experience in the health sciences has proven particularly beneficial as she interprets clients’ scientific information for mainstream media. “But it’s no longer sufficient to write well,” she cautions. “As marketers, we must now comply with the intricacies of digital marketing. That involves a whole set of rules, which are constantly evolving.”
